Ambassadors of Compassion Canada is proud to welcome Missy MacKintosh as an official Ambassador of Compassion representing Salmon Arm, British Columbia.

Missy is the founder and CEO of MisMacK Clean Cosmetics and the creator of Sports Colour Cosmetics™. She is a Canadian entrepreneur, professional makeup artist, speaker, mother and advocate whose story reflects resilience, innovation and the courage to rebuild.

What began in the basement of her family home in Canoe, B.C., grew into a nationally recognized Canadian company. Through MisMacK, Missy has worked to create clean, Canadian-made, high-performance cosmetics and products that allow people to express themselves without compromising their values.

Inspired by her son Evan’s love of sports, Missy and Evan co-created GamePlay Eye Black. The mother-and-son team brought their innovation to CBC’s Dragons’ Den, introducing their vision to a national audience.

Their idea has continued to expand through GamePlay products, Sports Colour Cosmetics™ and a partnership with the CFL’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Their products bring together sport, self-expression, performance and a commitment to supporting young people.

Behind Missy’s business success is an equally important personal story. She speaks honestly about entrepreneurship, financial pressures, grief, setbacks and her journey of sobriety. Instead of hiding the difficult chapters, Missy uses them to demonstrate the power of accountability, perseverance, personal growth and purpose.

Her story reminds young people that obstacles do not have to determine their identity or their future. Challenges can become turning points—and lived experience can become a powerful source of compassion and leadership.

As an Ambassador of Compassion, Missy will bring her authentic voice, entrepreneurial experience and passion for helping others to our growing Canadian movement. She represents the kind of courageous, compassionate leadership we want young people to see, experience and eventually carry into their own schools, families, communities and future businesses.

A Story of Love, Loss, and the Power of Forgiveness

Some stories stay with you long after you hear them.

With full permission from the family, Dominic Cuccione and Gloria Cuccione share the story of their son, Michael Cuccione—a childhood cancer survivor whose life was ultimately lost due to medical complications.

What tey chose in the aftermath is something most people would struggle to imagine: forgiveness.

This message was shared with hundreds of students at the Ambassadors of Compassion Canada kickoff event in Kelowna, British Columbia on February 25, 2026, where the impact was deeply felt throughout the room.

This is more than a story of grief.
It is a story of love, emotional resilience, and the transformative power of compassion.

We are deeply grateful to the Cuccione family and the Michael Cuccione Foundation for trusting us to share this message with the next generation.
